The first Sunday of each month is Mite Box Sunday. Please take a Mite Box or envelope, fill it with coins and/or dollars, and return it the following month.  This month, we celebrate Easter on the same Sunday.  Please help bring the news of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection through your donations. 

Ft. Wayne Seminary Donations - The Cleveland West Zone of the LWML has committed to helping our future pastors and their families by donating various items throughout the year.  A box is located outside the Women's Ministry office for all of your gifts. Thanks from the LWML for helping these students. In April - To help our future pastors, their wives and children with their meals, donations of shampoo, bar soap, deodorant and tooth brushes will be accepted.

Spring Rally – The Cleveland West Zone Spring Rally will be held at St. Thomas Lutheran Church on Sunday Afternoon, April 18, 2010.  Please watch the bulletin for further details.

LWML Ohio District Convention - Plan now to attend the convention to be held at the Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg, Ohio from June 25-27, 2010. Each church is entitled to send two delegates. If you are interested, learn more about the convention at www.lutheransonline.com/lwmlohiodistrict. The ODE (Ohio District Edition of the Lutheran Woman's Quarterly) has registration forms and much information about the convention.   Our own The Rev. Dr. David D. Buegler, Fifth Vice President, LCMS, will give the sermon at the Friday evening opening worship service with Holy Communion, entitled “At the Name of Jesus Every Knee Shall Bow.” Dr. Buegler will also be our mission speaker on Saturday, and he will use Acts 4 as the springboard for his address entitled “For There is No Other Name.” All women are invited.
