New! Beginning after Easter!
“From Christ to Constantine: The Trial & Testimony Of The Early
Church” The first three centuries were decisive for Christianity.
The very existence of the church itself was threatened by powerful
opponents who wanted to destroy it. This 6-week series will go to the
locations and use dramatic re-creations to bring you close to the
early believers. The series combines videos and a Bible study to
explore God’s work through the first three centuries after
Christ’s death and resurrection. (Led by John Ragland)

The
Truth Project
is a DVD-based multimedia based curriculum comprised of 13 one-hour
lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This Bible Study is the starting point
for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in
detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in
daily life.

New
Member Class: Jan.17
12:30-2:30pm Beginning in January, we’ll start our next New Member
Class. This time we’re going to be meeting on Sundays after
services. The idea is to bring something to eat, enjoy a few minutes
of fellowship,
then spend the time looking at and understanding our Christian beliefs based
on a Biblical, Lutheran understanding. Current members are welcome to join
and review our Christian faith.
Bible
Study for 60 and Older:
Join us for a warming of the spirit and a time to share in fellowship
studying God’s Word by being part of a Bible study for those 60 and
older led by The Rev. Dr. David Buegler entitled, Jesus’ Parables for
Today. The study will be held at Lutheran High School West, 3870
Linden Rd., Rocky River, OH in the Thrivent Multi Media Room. We will meet
Tuesday, January 19, February 16, April 20 and May 18, 2010, from
9:30-10:30 a.,. A continental breakfast will be served. Please call

interested in attending. All are welcome!
