Confirmation is a
two year program for grades 7-8. It follows the "FinkIncubators"
program and involves small groups that pray, share hi-lows, and
service projects. The small groups meet once a week for the large
group lesson either on Sundays at 10:15-11:45 OR on Monday evenings.
The small groups plan their own service and fellowship projects
separately. The specific details are updated on Memberconnect. Each
student selects a Bible verse and creates a project based on the verse
and the talents God has given them. Students also write a statement of
faith that is reviewed with Christian leaders at St. Paul. First
communion occurs for 8th grade confirmation students during the Maundy
Thursday worship service. Confirmation for 2010 will be May 16.
