St. Paul praises the faith and work of our women who contribute so much to the mission and ministry of our church and community. We are also searching for someone who will provide leadership for our Women's Ministries. Please join us in praying for God's servant to say yes to this important work.

Service Opportunities:

Altar Guild

This service group maintains both Traditional and Contemporary Altars
for all services as well as the Vestments, linens, candles, flowers, and com- munionware. There are four meetings each year and an enjoyable dinner in August. Please call Karen Wade at 440-779-5317 and join us as we serve the Lord.

Banner Committee

A hard working group of women work year round to put together some of the most beautiful worship and baptismal banners you’ll ever see! The ladies meet on the second Monday of the month at 7:00pm to do their work. Watch the bulletin for details in case of date changes or extra project opportunities. Contact Jennifer Panaccione (440) 452-7564 to help.

Helping Hands

This group of ladies meets a couple of times a year (depending on the need) to cook and freeze meals that will be delivered to families or individuals who can use a “helping hand” during difficult or stressful times. The occasion may be a discharge from the hospital, a death in the family, the birth of a child, job loss or financial strains. To help with this ministry, or if someone you know could benefit from this program, contact Women’s Ministry through the Church Office.

Women’s Bible Studies

Currently there are studies offered for women on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Watch the bulletin and Tower Chimes for details. More class oppor- tunities are being discussed as well as the need for childcare. If you have questions or suggestions, please contact the Church Office.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML)

LWML is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. As the mission arm of Women’s Ministry, this group seeks to serve God through mission projects both here and abroad. The Mite Boxes are probably the most recognized part that help carryout the missions. No membership is required to participate. All women of St. Paul are automatically members of the LWML. Watch the bulletin for meeting dates and Bible study opportunities. Inspiring stories and mission updates are fea- tured in literature like The Lutheran Women’s Quarterly, which is made availa- ble by the LWML. Pick up your copy outside either worship service. Contact Esther Heindel (440) 808-9266 with questions.

Basket of Blessings

The ministry here is to provide a woman with a ray of “SON” shine from her sisters in Christ. Women need support and encouragement for many reasons and this group of ladies lovingly prepares gift baskets or delivering them, contact Karen Drazdik (440) 779-4728. To nominate a woman as a recipient, contact Women’s Ministry. Donations and gifts are accepted to help with this ministry.

Martha Guild

The purpose of Martha Guild is to provide luncheons and/or refreshments at St. Paul Lutheran Church following the funeral or memorial service for a member of our congregation or person in the immediate family of a member. Volunteers may help with phone calls, baking, meal preparation, set-up, serving, and clean up. Membership in this group is open to all women of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Contact Cindy Duran (440) 934-7221 or Tammy Smanik (440) 808-8534.

Ladies Fellowship Luncheon

All women are invited to join these monthly luncheons! They take place on the third Thursday of the month at noon at a designated restaurant. Each woman pays for their own meal. Watch the bulletin for details and call your reservation to Marilyn Priebe (440) 871-6954.
