Questions of Faith

Baptism

Baptism is God’s very best for your little blessing. St. Paul is a word and sacrament fellowship. We understand the inner call when a new baby comes into your home. The call is from the Lord. His words work in your heart with a reminder, “Go make disciples . . . baptizing then in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Spirit.” That inner call is not just an empty tradition. It is the call of the Lord to bring your child into a beginning relationship with Him through this sacrament.

We will help you answer that call for a spiritual beginning. We can follow up on that call with an entire program of ministry as rich and essential as Sunday school and youth ministries and as deep as a full preschool and grade school that feeds into a system of high school and college education.

Weddings

St. Paul is an active congregation and during the course of the year, many
weddings are conducted within the confines of our beautiful facility. We dominantly serve members in our wedding ministry.

On occasion, we will serve couples that may be without a church home by helping them to arrange for a Christian wedding in our facilities. As Christians, we do not take marriage lightly and thus counsel with couples before the day of the ceremony.

Our process is to meet initially to become acquainted and then to have the couple complete a pre marriage survey. The survey is sent away for processing and we then meet to discuss the results.

If you would like information of arranging a wedding at St. Paul, contact us by phoning the church office at 440-835-3050. You may also send for information to our church office over the web. Send your inquiry to (remove spaces for email address:) stpaul_luth @ ameritech.net.
