Sunday Morning Youth Group - XP3
Every Sunday morning, 6th-8th grade students meet at 9:50am for an experience unlike any other. We begin with games & worship music, move into a large group message dealing with a relevant topic for today's youth, and then finish up in age appropriate small groups where students get a chance to breakdown their experience in large group. We do this through an something called XP3
XP3 stands for eXPerience 3.
We believe that there are three things that every student should experience in student ministry (and in life) ... three things they must have in order for them to have a personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
Those 3 things are wonder, discovery and passion.
*WONDER: God DESIGNED the world and created us with a unique IDENTITY so we can CONNECT to Him as our Heavenly Father.
*DISCOVERY: When we follow His Son Jesus by FAITH, His Spirit TRANSFORMS us and empowers us to live out His TRUTH.
*PASSION: We live in a COMMUNITY of family and friends showing God’s love and COMPASSION every day and demonstrating His story of RESTORATION to the world.
Every series we teach will use one, two or all three of these elements so that students move beyond information about God to an actual experience with Him ... one that incites wonder, discovery and passion. We want to incite wonder in the hearts of our students in such a way that compels him or her to discover who they are and their passion for influencing others....
