This robot is called the Wobble Walker; it is used to teach infants or toddlers how to walk. It is a system of leg braces to guide a baby as it is learning to walk. It can also teach babies how to speak and can assist in potty training.
The Wobble Walker has six motors, three on each side; it guides and the leg, the knee, and the ankle movement. The braces are stainless steel lined with foam to protect the child’s skin.
The Wobble Walker has a rechargeable battery system that needs to be charged once every few weeks, depending on the amount of use.
The Wobble Walker is voice activated, and responds to phrases like, “Come here,” or “Turn Right.” There is a touch screen on the back of the Wobble Walker that you can use to turn on or off, change language, or manually override speed or direction. It has sensors that can tell if objects are in front of the child; it also calculates variables such as weight, overall performance, and height so it can tell how much assistance the child needs.
The Wobble Walker also speaks in a variety of languages so it can also assist the child with speech. It moves in a way that is similar to an average infant or toddler’s way of walking. It teaches a child how to walk and speak at a rate that is natural. It does not produce any waste so it is environmentally friendly.
