Important Information to Note
- Come one, come all to a special concert by David Britton. David Britton will be performing in the Sanctuary at 2 p.m. on November 7th . You do not want to miss this wonderful Christian musician and songwriter. This is an amazing opportunity to grow in faith through song and worship. All are welcome!
- Parent-Teacher conferences were on October 30th. If you missed your conference, please touch base with your child(rens) teacher.
- Special Offering Challenge – the students of St. Paul Lutheran School have been issued a special offering challenge to help St. Paul Congregation eliminate the building fund debt. Each child has been challenged to bring in loose change and coins. We are attempting to raise $1000 in the month of November for this worthwhile cause (basically that is $3/child). This would be in response to all that St. Paul congregation has done for our school. Out of gratitude and thanksgiving we press on towards this goal. For your information St. Paul Church and School are celebrating 150 years of ministry, and one of our congregational goals is to eliminate this debt. Thank you for your support in this effort.
- No School November 4 – St. Paul is a voting site.
- In our first month of offerings we generated $800 for an inner city school in the Milwaukee area. Thank you for your kind support. Keep showing your stewardship attitude.
- Do you know what kind of music your children are listening to? Check out their iPods among other things. Remember the above passage – conforming to society is not what is always best for our daily reformation.
- November 1, 1800, the White House became the official residence of the President of the United States. John and Abigail Adams were the first residence. Did you know that the United States had two other capital locations before Washington D.C.? If you can name them and how the present placement of the capital was finally chosen a special prize awaits you. This prize will be given to the first; all others may have to settle for a piece of candy!
- BAKERS AND CRAFTERS NEEDED: for Election Day. St. Paul Lutheran Church and School are having a Bake and Craft Sale during the election polling at St. Paul this Tuesday. All proceeds will help feed local families; the current need is tremendous all around us! If you can help, please bring your craft or baked goods Monday after school between 3 and 4 o'clock or Tuesday morning. No need to even get out of your car at pick up time as volunteers will be ready to collect wrapped baked goods or craft items!! For more information or ideas call Debbie Ward 440-930-5590.
- COUPONS NEEDED: Hunger ministry has a shopper that will use your Sunday coupons to purchase items to assist local hunger centers, like Redeemer, with obtaining much needed supplies. All we need are your coupon ads. Please drop your coupons in the Hunger Barrels. Cut out the ones you need for your family and Hunger Ministry volunteers will do the rest. Thank you for caring and helping. ~ Mary Levtzow
- “GATHER in GRATITUDE”: for a Thanksgiving Day Meal at St. Paul - Thurs., Nov. 27. We are gathering to thank God for 150 years of blessings at our school and church. There will be a free will offering that day. In order to better plan, please make your reservations with Mardelle Retzloff (440-871-3387).
Thanksgiving Day Meal Help Needed - Volunteers are needed to donate pumpkin pies and cranberries, with set up/clean up, or cooking/serving the meal. If you would like to help, call Nancy Boehm (440)934-7990.
