St. Paul participated in the Midwest Talent
Search program for 8th graders. Three of our eighth graders took
the SAT, a college admissions test. All three did well when
compared to College-bound Seniors across the country. One student,
our 2007 Valedictorian, scored better than 92% of College-bound
Seniors in Reading, and 85% of College-bound Seniors in Writing.
This student’s overall SAT score put him in the top 200 of
eighth grade participants in the State of Ohio. He will be
receiving a certificate of that achievement in May. This same
student also took the ACT college entrance exam and had an overall
score better than 92% of College-bound Seniors across the country.
This was based on a combination of scores which included a 99% in
English and a 92% in Reading.
