In 8th Grade
Algebra, students are prepared for their high school success by
accomplishing an Algebra I course so they can continue their
mathematics tract in a higher educational learning environment.
In Pre-Algebra, students
are making a transition to advanced mathematical topics such as
algebra and geometry while enhancing their basic arithmetic
knowledge. This is accomplished by learning about equations and
inequalities, integers, exponents, rational and real numbers,
collecting and analyzing data, plane geometry, perimeter, area
volume, ratios, percents, probability, graphs, sequences,
functions, polynomials, set theory, logic and problem solving.
In 7th Grade
Math, students will build and expand their knowledge and skills
in regards to operational math, graphing and statistics,
geometry and probability. An additional emphasis is placed on
building problem solving skills.
In 6th Grade
Math, students establish a greater understanding of numbers and
their relationships. This is accomplished by learning about
number patterns, algebra, decimals, percents, fractions, ratios,
proportions, geometry, measurement, integers, graph functions,
probability and problem solving.
