This service group maintains both Traditional and Contemporary Altars for all services as well as the Vestments, linens, candles, flowers, and communion ware. There are four meetings each year and an enjoyable dinner in August. Please call Karen Wade at 440-779-5317 and join us as we serve the Lord.
A hard working group that works year round to put together some of the most beautiful worship and baptismal banners you’ll ever see! They meet on the second Monday of the month at 7:00PM to do their work. Watch the bulletin for details in case of date changes or extra project opportunities. The Chair Committee seeks volunteers willing to give an hour on Saturday nights to set up chairs for the Sunday morning Contemporary Worship Services. Training is provided. Families are encouraged and welcome to participate. Contact Joe Panaccione, Jr. (440) 452-7564 for more information.
The Coffee Time Ministry serves the St. Paul Lutheran Church and visitors every Sunday. Volunteers set up from 7:30-8:15 AM, serve guests from 9:30-9:50 AM, and clean up from 9:50AM to completion. Volunteers are needed weekly in teams of 3-5 volunteers; groups of friends or a whole family can work together with smiles and cheer. Occasionally we need people to assist the Church Office with a variety of projects. If you would like to be put on a list to call “as needed”, call the Church Office.
In each of our Sunday morning worship services we need men, women or couples of all ages to serve as greeters at the doors. If you are interested in serving (we have schedules) call the Church Office.

Childcare is provided during all Sunday morning worship services and Sunday morning Bible study in Room 116. Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated. Call Colleen Foster at
Ushers for all services. Men, women, youth, children, and families are invited to assist with welcoming worshipers, ushering people to their seat, taking the offering, and generally monitoring the needs of those attending services and taking care of them. Requires a commitment 25 minutes prior to service, attentiveness during service, and 10 minutes of straightening up after services. We work with a schedule and you serve in the services you normally attend. We will train, equip and support all those who serve.
Praise Team & Band
This is a mixed voice praise team and band that leads the music for our Contemporary worship services. Additional instrumentalists are added throughout the year. St. Paul Chancel Choir
St. Paul Chancel Choir is our SATB mixed choir for our traditional services. They regularly meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays from September through May in the Music Room. They sing in most special services and in the Sunday services, either 8:30 a.m. or occasionally 11 a.m. If you have an interest in joining the choir and would like to have more information, contact Julie Pruchenski (216-410-3976) or any choir member. This is our Handbell Choir. We have six octaves of English Handbells and a dedicated group of ringers with varied levels of experience who enjoy ringing and praising God in worship services. They meet on Wednesday evenings for rehearsal each week at 6:30PM. Please contact the Church Office if you are interested.

This group of dedicated prayer warriors wants to help carry the burdens of our brothers and sisters in Christ and will pass along prayer requests through a day or evening chain. Submitted prayer requests can be either detailed or “anonymous”. Contact is Lorilynn Wolf (440) 808-0430.
Cleveland West Lutherans for Life
Our mission and purpose is to equip Lutherans to be Gospel-motivated voices for life, to witness the sanctity of human life through education based on the Word of God. We need adults and teens to join the LFL meetings in March and September to plan activities to educate, witness and care for others. We need helpers for our “Trash ‘n Treasures” fundraiser and other activities as well as prayers and donations. The College Ministry at St. Paul understands that college is a time of great and constant change. That’s why we’ve made a commitment to help keep our college students connected to us and each other.
Throughout the year, we will strive to keep in touch through email communications, opportunities to connect when students are home on break, and special reminders to let them know we are here for them and they are always in our prayers.

A group of retired folks meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday s at 1:30PM in the conference room to trim used stamps from envelopes that are then sold to stamp collectors and the proceeds support worldwide missions. Call Evie Badt (440) 871-5315 for more information.
Volunteers provide a worship service of music and prayer in a local nursing home that otherwise does not have a Christian affiliation. Using resources from the SonShine Society, this group ministers weekly on Monday evenings. If you are interested call Shirley McCowan at (440) 371-8035.
St. Paul Social Club
This group offers Christian fellowship activities to couples whose children are on their own. A wide range of entertainment and recreational activities are planned of a purely social nature throughout the year. The church bulletin is the place to watch for these gatherings (8-9 per year). Everyone is welcome.
Military Support Ministry – Operation Barnabas
Our group is an outreach ministry to all branches of the military, both past and present. We seek to help our members and our neighbors. There is a great need to support these military families during their challenging times and what an opportunity it is for us to show Christ’s love. Prayer Shawl Ministry

Lifelight Bible Study
Three studies of Biblical topics or Books of the Bible are offered each year and each study is for nine weeks. The Lifelight Study is published by Concordia Publishing House and is approved by the LCMS. Topics to be studied will be published in the weekly church bulletin. This class is noted for being friendly and encouraging. Participants have on occasion gathered at member’s homes and have also visited the Cleveland Museum of Art to view objects of art that illustrate Biblical topics. New Member Classes
A number of times each year, the pastors will lead individuals interested or curious about membership through Bible filled courses. These classes are gladly offered to anyone who might be interested in learning more about the Lutheran faith or brushing up on what they have believed for a lifetime. Women’s Bible Studies
Currently there are studies offered for women on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. Watch the bulletin for details. More class opportunities are being discussed as well as the need for childcare. If you have questions or suggestions, please contact the Church Office.
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML)
LWML is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. As the mission arm of Women’s Ministry, this group seeks to serve God through mission projects both here and abroad. The Mite Boxes are probably the most recognized part that help carryout the missions. No membership is required to participate. All women of St. Paul are automatically members of the LWML. Inspiring stories and mission updates are featured in literature like The Lutheran Women’s Quarterly, which is made available by the LWML.
The purpose of Martha Guild is to provide luncheons and/or refreshments at St. Paul Lutheran Church following the funeral or memorial service for a member of our congregation or person in the immediate family of a member. Volunteers may help with phone calls, baking, meal preparation, set-up, serving, and clean up. Membership in this group is open to all women of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Youth & Family
St. Paul Lutheran Elementary School
Our school is one of the finest parochial schools in the area. We offer education for Preschool, full day Kindergarten, and 1st through 8th grades in a Christian setting with an outstanding staff of dedicated teachers and volunteers. Sports, band, guitar, hand bells, computer, art, before and after school care, hot lunch program and other school activities enhance the learning experience. The school is tuition-based. Vacation Bible School
This program is a week usually in June or July for touching children’s hearts and lives with Jesus’ love. Adults and teens model Jesus’ love to children by teaching them about Jesus, showing them how to pray for each other, and giving them a heart for worship and service to the Lord.
P.T.L. (Parent Teacher League)
This active group of volunteers supports the ministry of our Christian Day School. If you are interested or have questions, call the School Office at 440.835.3051.
TRIP (Gift Card Program)
The Tuition Reduction Incentive Program is a St. Paul School fundraiser which sells gift cards for such items as gas, groceries, restaurants, retailers and even the movies. Cards are available for purchase Sunday mornings between services located near the school atrium.
This program, for students age 3 through 5th grade, is an integral part of church life and helps us to grow in our relationship with Christ. Sunday School takes place on Sunday mornings from 9:50AM-10:50AM. Individuals who have a love for the Lord, a heart for children, interact well with others, and desire to be a part of dynamic ministry are welcome to contact the Church office for volunteer opportunities.
6th—8th Grade Youth Group
This youth group meets periodically for youth nights, games, devotions, fellowship, food and fun as well as Sunday mornings from 9:50-10:50AM.
Senior High Youth Group
This group is made up of students from 9th through 12th grade. We challenge them to take lead in our youth ministry and are involved in various missions, gatherings, and activities. This group meets periodically for activities as well as Sunday mornings from 9:50-10:50AM.
Greeters for every entry point and around the facilities and our Welcome Centers outside each service at St. Paul. 50 minutes a week scheduled preceding and following services you usually attend. Be a welcoming face, give direction, information and represent Jesus. We will train and support. There’s nothing quite like welcoming visitors and members to our services.
Camera Technician is needed for the 8:30AM (or 11AM) Contemporary Service. We will train and support. Requires 90 minutes for a weekly service and we would like to have 3-4 youth and adults who will set up and monitor our live streaming service. No technical expertise needed. We will add a Traditional Service in the future. We also plan to add additional events as we grow our team.
Presentation Team members will run “Power Point” software during Contemporary Services. Training and support are offered. Requires 90 minutes per service. No technical expertise is needed and training will prepare you for serving.
