Youth Ministry

Youth Group (5-12 grade)

-Twice monthly (1st and 3rd Sunday nights) 6-8pm

-Time for open gym and active games

-Meal provided

-Playing fun games that you wouldn’t get to experience most places

-Taste tests where you guess and rank different foods based on category (i.e., flavors of oreos, pop tarts, brands of chips, etc.) and other creative activities to engage youth in wholesome ways

-Quarterly “special” youth group events: game tournaments, bowling, laser tag, etc.

Confirmation (7-8 grade)

Confirmation is the opportunity for students to themselves make the decision to profess Jesus as their savior (unlike many who are baptized as babies)

Monthly “Faith Experiences” are held where they’re able to grow in their faith in different and unique ways such as:

-Worshiping at different churches and getting to ask the pastor questions;

-Visiting a funeral home and talking with staff about life after death;

-Having scientists talk to them about how faith and science are not in opposition, but can go hand in hand;

and much more!
