  1. “Out of the mouths of babes” come all sorts of surprising sayings. What is a favorite thing that one of your own children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews/any child you know has said?

  2. Why do some people praise Jesus on Palm Sunday, while others are angry? What does power or powerlessness have to do with your response to Jesus?

  3. According to Jesus, what is the positive about being like a child? Why is it hard for us to be like a child?

  4. Read Philippians 2:5-11 again. How does this connect to the events of Palm Sunday and the rest of Holy Week? What do we learn about Jesus from His “powerful powerlessness?”
