Rich Man, Poor Man | Luke 12:13-21

Six Easy Ways to Get What You Want | Genesis 18:17-33 & Luke 11:1-13

  1. One man was rich, but willingly became poor.

  2. One man thought he was rich, but actually possessed nothing.

  3. The man in the parable only laid up treasure for himself. His motto was “Eat, drink, and be merry.” But he forgot the last part of that parable: “for tomorrow we die.”

  4. This story gives us a strong warning. It is possible to lose your soul due to your sinful relationship with possessions.

  5. What does it mean to be “rich toward God”?

  6. What gives us the confidence to be rich toward God?
